The annual Indiana University Kokomo Student Research Symposium is dedicated to the promotion of student research, scholarship, and creative activity performed in partnership with faculty or other mentors.

The event is open to both undergraduate and graduate students at IU Kokomo and students from all majors and disciplines are welcome to participate.

Research is defined as scholarship, creative projects, artistic works, multimedia works, service projects, capstone projects, or any student work faculty would like to sponsor for the Symposium.

Students who participate in the event either do a 10-15 minute presentation with Q&A from the audience or present at a poster session in Alumni Hall where they display posters of their research and take questions from viewers.

Students who would like to apply to participate in the event should follow the link to the right to submit an abstract.  Once you do that you'll hear back from the event organizers about whether or not your abstract has been accepted.

For more information about submitting an abstract to present at the symposium or what's involved in doing a presentation or poster session please use the links to the left.
