Instruction Services

Indiana University Kokomo librarians work with classes and groups to give instruction on library resources and tools.

We can meet with a class to:

  • Introduce students to library resources and services, as well as specific resources that are relevant to coursework
  • Deliver instruction in the use of particular resources in a workshop setting

When scheduling an instruction session, it is most helpful to have an assignment or specific coursework in mind that will make use of library resources.

We can also meet with groups of students, faculty, or staff to introduce the library's services, give tours, discuss a research topic and research strategies, or provide instruction on specific resources. We welcome library use by outside school groups. See Visiting School Groups to schedule a visit.

Set up instruction for your class or group

Faculty can schedule a class instruction session by completing an online request form. Groups can schedule a tour or session by contacting the Information Literacy Librarian.
