Finding Primary Sources

A primary source was either created at the time that a historical event occurred or at a later date in the form of a memoir or oral history. There are many types of primary sources, including letters, diaries, manuscripts, newspaper articles, photographs, polls, or research data. The Indiana University Kokomo Library provides access to primary source materials both in traditional and online formats. Watch the short video below for suggestions on how to locate these materials within our collection.
