I have worked at IU Kokomo for over 28 years in different positions (as an advisor for the last 10 years). I am an advisor for Nursing and Allied Health and a former returning adult myself. I also visit IVY Tech classes to discuss their transfer options once they graduate from IVY Tech. I am also the ICN (Indiana College Network) coordinator for IU Kokomo.
I received my associate degree from IU Kokomo in 1998, the Bachelor of General Studies in 2001, and the Master of Science in Adult Education degree from IUPUI in 2004. As part of my Master's degree, I developed a course for returning adult students (COAS-S200) which I currently teach.
Other information: I received the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies Distinguished Alumni Award in 2008 for my passion in helping adult students achieve their educational goals.
