Awny Alnusair

Awny Alnusair , Ph.D.

Associate Professor of Informatics

My general research interests fall in the broad domain of Software Engineering. The specifics, however, are continually changing, but generally include Program Comprehension, Software Maintenance, Software Reuse, Programming Languages, Multimedia Systems, Multimedia Information Retrieval, and the Semantic Web. I am also interested in mining for data in vehicular ad hoc networks.

Call for Research Students

If you are interested in any of my research topics and would like to do research under my supervision, please contact me. In order to get involved in any of these research projects, you need to have good programming background and software engineering skills, or be interested in the theory and practice of recent trends in Semantic Web applications and technologies.

Also, if you are interested in working on something slightly different, please come and see me to discuss the potential of conducting that work with me.
