Assessment Consultations

The Assistant Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs consults with faculty to support planning and implementing program-level assessments and general education assessments.

The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (CTLA) consults with faculty to support planning and implementing both summative and formative course-level assessment. Summative refers to grading purposes. Formative refers to informally self-monitoring faculty effectiveness in teaching by assessing when students are learning. It usually uses non-graded and anonymous indicators. Please contact CTLA with questions or to schedule a consultation.
