All fees are subject to change without notice by action of the Indiana University Board of Trustees, the campus chancellor, or the director of budget administration. Most fees are assessed according to the number of credit hours taken by our students. Detailed information on the university's three newest initiatives related to affordability and financial literacy as well as links to a host of other valuable resources for students and their families can found at iu.edu/college-affordability.
Beginning in Fall 2016 we will be switching to banded tuition for any student in an on campus program taking between 12 and 18 credit hours. If a student chooses to take less than 12 credit hours they will be charged the per credit hour rate for tuition.
Students dropping classes prior to the end of the first week of classes will receive 100% credit for dropped classes.
After the first week of classes, only section changes are processed as even exchanges if processed by the Office of the Registrar.
After the first week of classes, dropped classes will be refunded according to the refund schedule.
* A Late Schedule Change Fee will be assessed beginning the second week of classes for each class added
