Life After IU Kokomo

Like it or not, your "Life After IU Kokomo" is coming.  Now is the time to get prepared and the IU Kokomo Alumni Association and IU Kokomo Career Center is hosting a series of events to help you do just that.  The five events - Professional Wardrobe, Online Networking, Professional Etiquette, Financial Literacy, and Relocation - Hone your skills in the areas most important to a soon-to-be young professional.  Join Us! 

All events are free with food provided

Get Dressed/Dress For Success

Dress for Success Fashion Show and Interview Skit is a professional development program that is a fun and informational event to prepare students for their first interview, internship, and/or first job. It will include a runway walk with fellow students in professional attire and a “What-Not-To-Do” Interview Skit. Following the program there will be two break out “Get Dressed” workshops one for men and one for women. There will be refreshments and door prizes!!! Learn how to impress and land your first job!!!

What the Fork- Etiquette Luncheon

Be ready to impress at your next professional event. An etiquette coach will guide you through the elements of etiquette in the most common professional settings. From utensils to handshakes to tipping.

The New Professionals Conference is available for all students. All students must register and pay the $10.00 (non-refundable) fee to attend by calling 765-455-9301 or visiting the Office of Career Services, Kelley Center Room 200.  Professional business attire is required.
