ScholarCorps AmeriCorps

ScholarCorps AmeriCorps members serve at select colleges and universities throughout the state of Indiana, and serve as on-campus resources to freshman and sophomore 21st Century Scholar students enrolled at that institution. The ScholarCorps AmeriCorps program aims to increase 21st Century Scholar student success by providing on-campus programming, direct support, and connecting students to various on-campus resources, information, and services that are needed to be successful. Each ScholarCorps AmeriCorps member aims to provide resources that focus on academic performance and persistence, student engagement and enrichments, career exploration and preparation, and financial literacy and debt management. They also coordinate service events for 21st Century Scholars and participate in National Days of Service as a member of the statewide AmeriCorps program.

Kristianna is an alumna of IU Kokomo. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in public administration and health management. Kristianna previously worked in the Office of Student Success and Advising as a peer advisor, orientation leader, and peer instructor. She was also President of Enactus, member of the Student Government Association, and loves to volunteer in her community. She has traveled abroad with IU Kokomo to South Korea, England, Scotland, and Guatemala. When she has a free moment, she enjoys time with family, friends, traveling, and visiting museums. Kristianna is excited to serve the IU Kokomo campus as the ScholarCorps AmeriCorps member.
