English Proficiency Documentation Options

If English is not your native language, you must demonstrate proficiency in English prior to admission to meet IUK's minimum standard for acceptance to both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Immigrant students currently residing in the Kokomo area may take the IUK Interim Placement Examination.

*Please note that all test results must be sent to IUK directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS). Indiana University Kokomo does not accept hand-carried score reports. Students taking the TOEFL while in China, India, Japan, Korea or Taiwan may be eligible for the TOEFL Scholarship.
