Intercampus Transfers at Indiana University

 What is an Intercampus Transfer?

Intercampus Transfers are classified in two ways within the Indiana University system.

  • Temporary Intercampus Transfers are students who are enrolled in an IU degree program who wish to transfer to another IU campus for one semester as a visiting student, before returning to their home campus.
  • Permanent Intercampus Transfers are students who have enrolled in an IU degree program who wish to permanently transfer to another IU campus.

Students looking to complete a permanent intercampus transfer should check with the contact for the campus they wish to transfer to for more information on transfer requirements, deadlines and any other special procedures. All intercampus transfer students should apply early.
