Weather-Related Campus Closing Procedures

Radio and television station listings

• 5:30 a.m. — Campus closed all day and evening.

• 9:30 a.m. — Classes beginning at or after 11:30 a.m. are canceled; campus offices close at noon.

• 3:30 p.m. — Classes beginning at or after 5:30 p.m. are canceled.

The Vice Chancellor for Administration call will

• notify director of Communications & Marketing

• notify director of Purdue programs

• e-mail faculty, staff, adjunct, hourly employees, and Purdue University

The Vice Chancellor for Student Services will e-mail IU Kokomo students. In the event that the Vice Chancellor for Student Services is unavailable, the Registrar will e-mail students.

Director of Communications & Marketing will

• notify campus Web manager to post crawl on IU Kokomo Web site

• notify all identified radio and television stations of closing

• notify campus community via IU Notify

When the campus is closed, only "essential personnel" (as identified by human resources) should remain on campus.
