IU Kokomo has recently partnered with Optimal Resume to provide ease in posting jobs/internships to our students. A new account must be created in order to post an opportunity to the students. Job/Internship postings

Job postings will be posted on the job bulletin board, in the Kelley Student Center, and on Optimal Resume. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Please review our job posting policy, prior to submitting your request. 

An internship can be very beneficial and rewarding for your company and for college students. Internships allow employers to:

• Temporarily hire quality motivated pre-professional students who can assist with special projects and give the employer the opportunity to gain new information and ideas.
• Great, cost-effective way to recruit and evaluate potential employees, while increasing the awareness of your organization on a college campus.

Internships will be posted on Optimal Resume and in the Kelley Student Center. If you are interested in providing a valuable learning experience for a student, helping our community, and benefiting from the fresh perspective, energy and creativity of an IU Kokomo student we ask that you create your Optimal Resume account and begin posting opportunites there.

Career fairs we offer to our students

Job, Internship, Volunteer Extravaganza (JIVE) offers an excellent opportunity to meet with current students and alumni seeking full-time/part-time employment, internships and/or volunteer positions.

Health Sciences Career Day is an excellent opportunity to meet with current students, majoring in nursing, allied health, and other health related majors, who will be seeking employment and or volunteer opportunities.

Kokomo Area Spring Job Fair is an opportunity to meet with IU Kokomo and Ivy Tech Kokomo students, alumni, and community members. 

Campus recruiting

If you are looking for professional, non-degree, full-time, part-time, or summer employees, we can offer you the opportunity to advertise these openings in the Kelley Student Center and on our on-line job board. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee success in this method of advertising.

Our office actively recruits students for on-campus interviews with companies and organizations that visit. Certain requirements must be met when scheduling an on-campus interview.
