Dr. Kathy Parkison, Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
My job as Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is to assist the Chancellor in her academic administrative roles but also to help faculty and staff with academic issues.
I work with deans and chairs on scheduling issues and on policies and procedures. As a PEAQ and AQIP reviewer for the Higher Learning Commission (North Central Association), I work with deans and chairs on their accreditation plans and reports.
I can help faculty with identifying internal and external grant agencies, can work with faculty on finding teaching and research resources, and can help faculty navigate the academic environment.
