Library Cards for the IU Kokomo Library
IU Kokomo students must use their student ID as their IU Kokomo Library card. Students may obtain their student ID cards through the Office of Student Activities, located in Room 210 in the Kelley Student Center.
Your Library card allows you to check out any circulating books or other materials that are physically shelved within the Library.
Your Library card also allows you to check out materials that your instructors may place on reserve. Reserve materials may be checked out at the Circulation/Reserves Service Desk, located on the first floor of the Library.
Library Cards for the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library
IU Kokomo students are also eligible for a free library card for the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library (KHCPL), regardless of where they live.
To be issued a card you must provide:
- verification that you are a current IU Kokomo student (a current class schedule is acceptable)
- your IU Kokomo student ID
- an item that lists your current address, e.g. a driver's license or a recent piece of mail addressed to you
For more details regarding obtaining a card for the public library, please refer to the Library Cards page on the KHCPL website.
